Winter camping trip

Jenny and I recently went camping near winter park with our good friend, Gareth. We snowshoed in for an hour and a half and built a snow shelter for the three of us to sleep in. It snowed about one foot outside, but we were nice and toasty inside our snow shelter.
The temperature outside was about 5 degrees, but inside our shelter it was 40 degrees when we went to sleep, and 30 degrees in the morning.
We had a lot of fun and it was great to be able to spend time in the beautiful Rocky Mountains before leaving for Africa.
